Will these Advent programs be recorded so that they can be watched at a later time. I live in Pennsylvania, which is Eastern standard time in the US and I’m wondering what time that to 8 PM UK time?
Hi Sarah, I’m so looking forward to this! I’m part of the Book Girl Fellowship and was wondering, is the Advent programs included or do I need to sign up?
I think this is just what we need, Sarah. It’s been a difficult season in so many ways. I find my heart longing for the peace and joy advent brings. Thank you so much for doing this.
As a little aside - I am truly enjoying listening to you read your book. Your gentle reading is just perfect. I love being read to. ❤️
I received a free copy in net galley as I was part of her launch team. I think you can find it on amazon, but not sure. It’s really nice to hear Sarah read it in her gentle voice.
Sarah, thank you for offering this precious resource. I would like to buy a ticket. My question is; will the sessions be available past the Christmas season for future enjoyment? If so, how long will one have access to them? Thank you.
Sarah, I love what you wrote about the Advent service at your student church. Last May I had one day and night in Oxford between my overnight flight to Heathrow from Boston and journeying on to Chester to visit English relatives. In the evening I went to Compline at Keble College and walked past your college on the way, so I was thinking of you. I had watched videos from Keble College services online, and it was amazing to be there in person and to meet Father Max, as he calls himself. The chapel was of almost unearthly beauty with the hundreds of votive candles, and the choir was exquisite, like angel voices. Now I continue to watch the Keble services online. You are fortunate to have all the beautiful old churches in Oxford to slip away to (when you can).
This sounds lovely! I wish my university held Advent services. I can't afford to sign up this time, but hopefully future opportunities might present themselves at a better time. I nevertheless look forward to celebrating Advent in light of Reclaiming Quiet.
Hi Sarah! Your Advent encounter series from a few years ago were deeply meaningful to me and I have rewatched them on Crowdcast every year since. I cannot wait to take this year’s journey with you! Thank you for doing this work. 🩵 (also Reclaiming quiet has been beautiful and touching, I’m nearly finished.)
I am having a hard time signing in the crowdcast to do your advent series. I need to fill in two blanks :Channel name and crowdcast.io/my-channel. What should I fill them in with?
I'm so sorry you're having trouble - I have no idea what that means as I don't have a 'channel'. See if this link takes you there so you can register: https://www.crowdcast.io/c/5ke3xxg97e66/lobby
Hey Sarah! Quick question for you, I'm putting together our Christmas Eve service, and am wanting to included some poems or readings that deal with the wonder of the incarnation. You were the first one to introduce me to just how big and incredible that mystery is, but also how it impacts our interactions with each other.
I know you're very busy in the season too, so please don't put much time into answering this, but if you have any resources that come immediately to mind (or anyone else on here for that matter!), do you mind sharing them?
Thank you!
Oh, I also ordered All Creation Waits for our new book this year on your recommendation, and it's beautiful! 😍

Yes! Each session will be recorded and you can replay it anytime. US Eastern time is five hours behind UK, so it would be 3pm for you.

Hello Nicole!
You do need to sign up separately, but there will be a discount code for the BGF - I'll post that Monday.
Sounds good! Thank you.

Oh, I'm so glad Linda!
May I ask how are you listening to her read aloud the new book?

Hello Randi! I did the audiobook reading myself this time, so you can listen wherever you can purchase the audiobook. (Audible, Amazon, etc.)

You would have access at least for 6 months, and probably longer depending on how I decide to archive the videos.
Oh, good, because I am at work for each one, and now am trying to figure out how to watch. 8-)

It's a pleasure and delight I don't take for granted! I've been to a Keble evensong by candlelight, it is indeed a wonder!
